Forgive

Forgotten, unloved, this heart, it splits.
The beckoning sadness like hurt, it hits.
The circling hell, like fire it burns.
The void I fall through, in darkness it turns.

The tears that fall, they’re wet and cold.
The darkness that follows is strong and bold.
The mind in shatters, unwilling, it dies.
My body in shackles, unhappy, it cries.

The torment, the pain, in agony I scream
The darkness is closing in on this dream.
In pieces and broke, the mind high on life.
The feeling of needing to end with a knife

It’s over now I promise, the end finally near.
Quiet now mind, the peace has come here.
Don’t follow me there, it is not safe.
I’m finally heading…to a better place..
